BRIEF

Sleep deprivation is a emerging global epidemic. There is growing discourse around the need for rest, rather than constant hustle. This is to become a central feature of global lifestyle

Concept & Inspiration

The Sleep Science: Material Study for Asian Paints explores how materials can evoke calm and tranquility. By selecting textures and tones that reflect the essence of sleep, the project aims to create a sensory-driven material palette that harmonizes with modern interiors.

Research & Mapping

We explored sensory experiences related to sleep, focusing on textures, colors, and patterns that evoke calmness. By mapping material combinations, we aimed to create a cohesive palette that enhances relaxation while guiding practical design applications.

Material Exploration

We explored soft textures and muted tones to evoke tranquility, focusing on materials that blend calmness with a modern aesthetic.

Design Implementation

The selected materials were incorporated into the design framework, prioritizing user-centric solutions that emphasize calmness and comfort. Thoughtful combinations of textures and tones were applied to create cohesive and restful interior environments.

FINAL OUTCOME The material study resulted in a thoughtfully curated palette that harmonizes calmness and modern aesthetics. The design captures the essence of sleep, creating a serene and visually soothing environment that can inspire future material choices in design.
